They sound like rain, birds flying, the ocean, and autumn. I’m not good at describing music, but I generally listen to The Rosebuds when I’m tired and wistful.

They have that mood pretty much nailed.

“I found a dead fox in the leaves today. He died early this morning I figure because he was still warm and soft. A couple of months ago he gave me a fright but he was just standing under a light and when I jumped a little, he slowly walked away. Sometimes he’d cross the street so I don’t think he was too afraid. I decided to bury him where I saw him that one time. But I don’t know if it meant anything to him, but I think it’s a good spot. ‘We Don’t have the same religion,’ I thought as I made a cross. But maybe these two sticks could represent nature or night, or hanging around at the light. And what do you say about a dead fox? So in a marker, on the cross, I scratched ‘Nice Fox.’

He was a nice fox.”
