Photo: misfittoys: Watched: Ponyo (崖の上のポニョ, Gake no Ue no Ponyo, 2009) It get’s in your brain. I spent at least a week after watching this randomly shouting at Digi “Ponyo!”, “Ponyo loves Sōsuke!”, “I want HAM!” and having tourettes fits of the theme song “Ponyo, Ponyo, Ponyo… tiny little fish; she’s a little fish from the deep blue sea. The quality is actually really good for being on the internet, but it has subtitles(which I know bother some people). There is this one part of the movie where a silhouette of a person appears in the shot and you realize this is being shot at a cinema but other than that I didn’t find it hard to watch. By the way, if you’ve not watched stuff on megavideo before, it cuts off the video at 72 minutes, but after like an hour or something it’ll let you watch it again. I’m not really sure why it does that. If you do watch it, I hope you enjoy it! Ponyo is adorable so far!  the 72 minute time limit per day is a bit annoying, but I’m really excited about watching the last half hour tonigh.  And then going on a Studio Ghibli binge the rest of the weekend!
