Photo: andrewjamesmacgregor: Quite a day for Baizleys. I got my Blue Record diptych framed and got the 3xLP and poster in the mail. damn.  nice.  I’m waiting to frame up the diptych and the rest of my posters until after I move.

Blue Diptych - John Dyer Baizley

If it sells out before friday, or I don’t get paid before friday, this will be the last thing that I miss due to my previous employer.  I think the likelihood of both of those conditions being fulfilled is low, though.

Photoset:

Detail from Burlesque’s recent print of Baizley’s Phantom Limb.  One of the many things I’ve missed out on this year due to my recently-ex-employer.

Photo: BURLESQUE of NORTH AMERICA™ STORE You can order this print from burlesque as well, although it’s damaged.  despite being signed and numbered (out of 200), $30 is substantial for a damaged print.

Photo: Vinyl Sunday: Vinyl & Vellum Edition Finally found Sunn O)))’s newest album on vinyl.  It takes packaging to new levels, with the tip-on dust cover, poster/lyric sheet and illustrated sleeves.  The records are both 1 side at 33RPM, 1 side at 45RPM (fortunately labeled, I get very annoyed by records that lack side & speed information on the stickers).   Since Monoliths & Dimensions reminded me of it, I also attempted to photograph Coliseum’s True Quiet/Last Wave 7”, which also has a vellum dust cover, with artwork that completes the design below it.
