Detail from Burlesque’s recent print of Baizley’s Phantom Limb. One of the many things I’ve missed out on this year due to my recently-ex-employer.
Vinyl Sunday: Vinyl & Vellum Edition
Finally found Sunn O)))’s newest album on vinyl. It takes packaging to new levels, with the tip-on dust cover, poster/lyric sheet and illustrated sleeves. The records are both 1 side at 33RPM, 1 side at 45RPM (fortunately labeled, I get very annoyed by records that lack side & speed information on the stickers). Since Monoliths & Dimensions reminded me of it, I also attempted to photograph Coliseum’s True Quiet/Last Wave 7”, which also has a vellum dust cover, with artwork that completes the design below it.
Vinyl Sunday: The Wall of Baizleys
(with a couple Pusheads for good measure)
In frames, to the left: Vitamin X (the gatefold is assembled backwards, relative to the mural, so I framed the poster), Insert from Baroness’ Red Album.

2nd Row: Baroness Second EP, A Grey Sigh in a Flower Husk (Baroness/Unpersons split), Baroness’ Red Album, Darkest Hour’s Deliver Us, Pig Destroyer’s Phantom Limb, Skeletonwitch’s Beyond the Permafrost.
3rd Row: Rwake’s Hell is a Door to the Sun, Berkeley Guitar, Torche’s In Return.
