Ability to modify post type on a reblog. [snip]On the reblog screen, there is a gray shaded button called “as …” (to the right of “Reblog Text Post”) that will let you change the type.
cool trick, but bad design on tumblr’s part. there’s nothing about that button that makes it look clickable - it matches the bckground color of the “advanced options” box, which is not clickable. I’ve wanted to do this a ton of times for people who linked to a video, instead of embedding it.
